Thousands flocked the Number 63 Beach on the Corentyne for the usual Easter Monday gathering. Kites of various descriptions and sizes accompanied by the resplendent colours of the holiday,Wholesale China Jerseys, dozens of vehicles,Wholesale Jerseys, and perhaps thousands of persons were on the five-mile stretch of beach to enjoy the day.President Donald Ramotar arrived shortly after midday and walked through the crowd. Many stopped him for photographic opportunities. He was accompanied by Attorney General Anil Nandall.Several food and beverage stalls were in operation as well as ice-cream vans and sweets stalls.And what would a trip to the Number 63 Beach be without sampling the waters? Many took the opportunity to have a swim as could have been seen.Kids were enjoying themselves as well. There were speedboat rides at $300 per person and many took advantage of the opportunity to take the thrilling and wet ride across the Corentyne River.The Number 63 Beach is one of the main hotspots to be on Easter Monday and yesterday was proof that thousands of Guyanese from across the country maintained the famous tradition.
